Garden design in Cheltenham

A clear, friendly process that takes you from a garden you are not sure about to a plan you are excited to build.

How it works

From first visit to finished plan

  1. Consultation

We visit your garden, talk through how you want to use it, what you love and what is not working, and agree a budget and timescale.

  2. Survey and brief

We measure the garden and note the aspect, soil, levels and views, then write up a brief so we both know exactly what the design needs to achieve.

  3. Concept design

A hand-drawn, coloured plan showing the layout: lawns, paths, seating areas, planting beds and focal points. We talk it through together and refine it.

  4. Planting plan

A detailed planting scheme with an evergreen framework, seasonal colour and plants chosen to suit your garden, your wildlife and your time.

  5. Bringing it to life

Once you are happy with the design, we can help you take it forward, from recommending landscapers to sourcing plants and setting out the planting.

What we design

Gardens of every shape and size

Family gardens

Room to play on the lawn, a sheltered spot to sit and planting that looks good from the house all year round.

Front gardens and driveways

Practical parking softened with layered planting, a clear route to the front door and a much better view from the window.

New build gardens

Turning a blank, often awkward plot into a garden with structure, flow and a reason to walk to the end of it.

Wildlife-friendly gardens

Ponds, trees for birds and pollinator-rich perennials, so the garden is as lively for wildlife as it is for you.

Planting refresh

Replacing tired, generic shrubs with a planting scheme that gives you year-round interest and plenty of colour.

Larger projects

Bigger gardens with outdoor kitchens, pergolas, garden rooms, meadows and orchards, planned as one joined-up design.
